Theophilis
From the New Testament, Luke addresses the Gospel of St. Luke and the Acts of the Apostles to this figure. Theophilus comes from a Greek root meaning "God" and therefore Theeophilus means "beloved by God" or "lover of God." Nicknames for Theophilus include Theo.
